CAPRICE CLASSIC 1988

Kupé-modellerna upphörde, medan 4-dörrars sedan-modellen och herrgårdsvagnen fanns kvar (herrgårdsvagnen återigen endast i ett utförande).

Sedan-modellen av Caprice Classic kunde vara i Base-, Classic-, Brougham- eller Brougham LS-utförande. Tonade rutor var nu standard, fjärrmanövrerad sidospegel, halvljusautomatik ochtereo med inbyggd klocka.

Alla Chevrolets fullsize-modeller fick nya huvornament detta år, liksom nya strålkastare med hel- och halvljus i samma enhet.


Kupé- och sedan-modeller hade en V6 på 262ci (4,3 liter) som standard, med 305-motorn (5,0 liter) som extraval. Herrgårdsvagnen hade en V8 på 307ci (5,0 liter) som standard. 700-automaten, fyrstegsautmat med överväxel, var nu standard på alla modeller.
