CAPRICE CLASSIC 1982
1982 minskades antalet modeller. Caprice Landau Coupé försvann, och herrgårdsvagnen kunde nu bara fås med extrasäte. Sport Coupé och sedan-modellen blev förstås kvar.
V8:an på 350ci (5,7 liter) kunde nu fås till alla modeller, inte bara till herrgårdsvagnen. Standardmotor var V6:an på 229ci (3,8 liter), med trestegsutomat. Herrgårdsvagnen levererades med en V8 på 267ci (4,4 liter), vilken kostade 70$ att få till de andra modellerna.
Som extraval för bättre bensinförbrukning fanns fyrstegsautomaten till 267ci-motorn och 350ci-motorn.
Några andra förändringar var att de nedre dörrpanelerna fick matta och en varningssignal för strålkastarna vid dörröppning. Herrgårdsvagnen fick elhissar till fönstret i bakluckan och och ett låsbart sidofack i bakluckan.
