CAPRICE CLASSIC 1978
Förutom smärre förändringar i utseendet så var 1978 års modell en nyutgåva av 1977 års modell. Detaljer i grillen förändrades åter, liksom de bakre lampornas utseende. Capricen fanns åter som en 2-dörrars kupé, 4-dörrars sedan och herrgårdsvagn (med eller utan extrasäte).
Av 14 standardfärger var 10 nya för året. Capricen fick också några nya detaljer som standard; tvåtons signalhorn, heltäckande navkapslar, kromade öppningar i hjulhusen, klocka, interiörlampor och nedfällbara armstöd i framsätet på sedan-modellen.
Caprice Classic Landau Coupe introducerades 1977 och fortsatte att tillverkas 1978. Den hade bl.a. vinyl-topp, sport-sidospeglar och eker-navkapslar med Landau-märken.
